Position Sizing & Stop Loss: Risk Management in Hinglish

Good setup bhi poor risk management ke saath account ko damage kar sakta hai. Position sizing ka goal profit guarantee karna nahi, balki har trade ka planned risk control karna hai.

1. Risk per trade pehle decide karein

Apne trading capital ka ek chhota, predefined hissa hi ek trade par risk karne ka rule banayein. Risk tolerance har person ki financial situation par depend karti hai; borrowed money ya essential expenses ka paisa risk na karein.

2. Basic position sizing formula

Quantity = Maximum planned rupee risk ÷ Per-unit loss at stop-loss

Ye formula tabhi useful hai jab stop-loss execution, slippage, fees aur contract/lot specifications ko bhi consider kiya jaye. Options mein premium movement aur lot size ke karan calculation instrument ke hisaab se badal sakti hai.

3. Example (illustrative only)

Maan lijiye aapka planned maximum risk ₹500 hai aur stop-loss par estimated loss ₹10 per unit hai. Simple calculation se quantity 50 units hogi (₹500 ÷ ₹10). Actual trade mein brokerage, taxes, slippage aur lot-size restrictions ke kaaran allowable quantity kam ho sakti hai.

4. Stop-loss kaise plan karein?

5. Daily risk limit aur trade journal

Daily loss limit define karein aur hit hone par trading stop karne ka rule rakhein. Journal mein planned risk, actual loss, fees, setup aur emotional state record karein. Rules ko historical data aur paper trading se evaluate karein.

Important: Position sizing losses ko eliminate nahi karti. Ye ek risk-control method hai, profit guarantee nahi. Derivatives high-risk products hain.
